  • There have been quite a few games of this style submitted and yours ran the smoothest for me. The enemy to character balance might need a little adjusting. The enemies were coming so slow I didn't need to move to fend them off. It's a great game demo. You did a great job putting this game together. GG!
  • Wave survivor game where you defeat shadows. Enemies seem to die really fast. None of them were able to touch me just standing still. Need a little more balance and integrate the upgrades from the GDD, but has potential. Make more games!

Survivors-like with a bit more weight on player decision over RNG, by using tiered resources to unlock spells and purchase upgrades to fight waves of varying mobs on multiple levels.

Extra Notes
To be honest, this is my first attempt at making a game, only starting to learn Godot about a week before the PirateJam 15 started so I wasn’t able to have the foresight to even create an estimated timeline, even now the game is still in a very basic state after a couple weeks.

I only got this far due to my previous experience in programming as a web dev for 8 years. I plan to continue developing this game until it's in a “fun” state and learn the most I can before continuing to another project.
