  • I really liked the mechanics in your game. It took me a while to understand how they worked, what the available combinations are and what they do. An in game + more advanced tutorial would be ideal. I especially liked how you tried implementing what would usually be a UI in the chest/enemy selection into the game and I'd love to see more of that!

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?

Shuffler on the right to align spell.
Left click on enemy or interact button to cast spell (or to pick things up/to choose a route)

There is a HELP button that explains the mechanics in more detail (somewhat).

You can see what the enemy is about to do, not what he is doing. My friends could confuse by that sometimes.
There are not only offensive spell but also defensive ones, so feel free to test around.
The amount of combinations is limited to how much i could think of.
There is a spell list if you want to spoil yourself (Settings Button -> Spell List. The first page only contains basic elements if that is enough), but to know what they do, you still have to try them yourself.
Encounters are RNG based and there are only a few amount of enemies but they scale every 5 floors.

Extra Notes
Thanks for hosting such a cool event. I also participated last time and even though these are like my busiest times, it is still very fulfilling to me. Thanks to you guys i get to enjoy game dev more and more!
