  • Like the shop and the gathering ideas, creatures were nice and shadowy. Would been nice to have some various monsters, even if they are all killed the same. Good job!

Pat the Plaguekid (or just Plaguekid) is a story about a kid whose parents' are the most powerful alchemists in the land. Suddenly, Pat's parents get sick, and years pass while Pat's parents get more and more sick, unable to run their shop. Due to this, shadow creatures invade the land, having originally been staved off by Pat's parent's potions in the hands of adventurers. Eventually, Pat becomes of age, and must embark on a mighty quest to find an alchemist powerful enough to create a potion that will heal Pat's parents.

The original goal was to have Pat craft potions that they could both sell or use, depending on how the player saw fit. On top of that, there were kill bounties that would appear that would award extra gold. This being our first game ever, we were sort of in over our own heads. Other than that though, we found the game to be a bit more fun that anticipated, even with what we put in.

Regardless of our performance here, we plan on fully developing and releasing this game, so keep an eye out, okay? Thanks!
