- Hello! Don't worry about if the game isn't playable or not, even just posting something that moved around on the screen and an idea is okay too! Just something to show your idea works as well good luck next time! Keep up the good work, the GDD was detailed, next time write as you go even with just coding or making a box move on the screen! The gameplay loop revolves around collecting shadow crystals (as in a currency) in order to level up/upgrade your homunculi. The shadow crystals are collected by going on expeditions with your homunculi and defeating monsters. This allows them to progress into new areas which may unlock different gameplay features through new crystals/materials to experiment with.
The enemies could be called “shadows” and all the enemies are designed like silhouettes.
The player creates homunculi, which are created from different materials. The Homunculi inherit properties from the materials used.
Extra Notes
As stated on the game page, we didn't manage to complete the game during the deadline. :/
