- The game is in a very janky state. The sprites for the background and the enemies feel very disconnected, the animations for the player and the enemies feel way off due to the scale. I think it would have been better to stick to one of the 2 styles and not mix them up. I can see where the overworld could come in handy, but currently there is nothing to ineract with besides going into empty buildings. The attack animations/attack trigger also doesn't seem to work reliably so there was a frustration when facing the 2 enemies presented. The Theme is relatively well explained in the intro, but there are no mechanics to support the theme, hence it is difficult to judge it. Overall needs a good amount of work and a clearer direction with the art. But I can see it getting there.
- I liked the monochrome theme. However, it didn't fit well with the main character. Also, why did he have a sword if I couldn't swing it? That was very confusing. We were told to go into houses and stuff, but there didn't seem to be any benefit to it other than to see them. The overall theme of the game is really neat. I think you have something going on. Keep at it!
