  • Due to the game being cut of and only displaying the top left most corner, we cannot really judge the game in of itself. The GDD looks promising. I like Darkest Dungeon / Dark and Darker style games.| I would really like to see the game in a workable state. If you can finish the game make make it workable, I will definitely try to judge it post game jam, if you are interested. Haven't seen someone come up with a darkest dungeon esque game, so marks for that one.

Where the normal Dungeon Delver you dive into a Dungeon, here you try to escape before the Dungeon gets claimed by shadows

Extra Notes
It is really not recommended to do a solo project when you miss almost a week of the jam due to a vacation that was already planned way ahead.

Still, had fun. Made bit more scuffed prototype then last time, but it is more complex. I'm surprised I had almost the entrire core of the game done.

Then I lost all my brainpower on the HTML5 export for the better be sure i have something.

Soo, I was brought to my attention by @FoxHollowGames that the game is zoomed in to the top left quarter of the screen. I kinda forgot the check if the game would work as required on the itch site, and not only in the Game Maker test window.

Sadly that means it is unplayable, since the GUI buttons for doing combat are cut off. Unless someone figure out how to full screen the game I guess. Still, I'm happy with the systems that are in and that I got them working the way I wanted. I'm going to continue with developing the game on Tuesday, look into where I have to fix this issue and update the game AFTER the voting period ends. Gving myself another mini jam to flesh out the game concept some more, instead of just having a bare bones prototype of a navigation and combat system.
