  • Let me start off by saying that I was able to break your game in 5 easy shifts (I dashed off screen by smashing shift + A). That was a lot of fun. The gameplay loop was a bit shallow, because I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. A little gameplay tutorial built into the map is super helpful to guide the player inside the world you're building. While playing, I did see a shadow enemy, but I didn't see anything to do with alchemy. Keep at it, you're doing a great job!

You play as a "Luxman", a Shade hunter for hire.

Shades are the result when humans spend too much time in the dark... It could be a month, or a year even, but those who forgo light itself, become faster, harder, and possess a seemingly endless desire to perpetuate the Shade, until the world becomes nothing more than shadows.

To fight against this plague, Luxmen rose up. Masters in the physical and chemical arts, the Luxmen use the essence of the Shades bound to weapons and artifacts in their endless battle against the darkness. They say that a Luxman's sword shines as bright as the day itself.

Controls: movement - wasd, dash - shift(can be spammed), attack - click

Extra Notes
I had a lot of stuff planned, and i didn't get to really make something that i would call working. I did learn a lot, and i am satisfied with that.

I would like any feedback that you could come up with. I know that there isn't much to work with.

Considering that this was my first jam, i am happy that i came up with what i did. Thank you all for your consideration.
