- Honestly this is a pretty solid demo, your mechanics of blasting work, the alchemy is good. The use of Shadows as a jack of all trades but dangerous substitute is good. The only thing I would give notes on for this specific iteration would be more guidance at the beginning with what you're supposed to do and how to do it, I thought I was supposed to blow up the robot at the start and had to figure out that I had to blow up the rocks instead, and that was only AFTER I realized I had to use Shadow to get air essence to create more blast potions after fumbling around for a while. Honestly you guys have a fun concept here that I would like to see expanded upon, good work!

Mechanical Mixologist is a 2D isometric RPG with a unique alchemical battle system that takes place in a steampunk universe where humans are extinct and automata have taken over. In an attempt to salvage their evermore desolate world, a secret society summons the human player character, Vienna, to this alternate world. With nothing but their trusty cocktail shaker in hand, they must navigate this dangerous world and avoid the tyrannical S.T.A.S.I.S. artificial intelligence that set in motion the extermination of the humans that once inhabited this world. Unravel the mystery of this strange new world, and shine light upon the events that occurred all those years ago. Will Vienna prove to be the human harbinger of change the automata believe them to be? Or will they simply thrust the world into an even darker chaos?
CONTROLS: Player interacts with movement and attack UI using mouse/trackpad in turn-based actions
The player controls a single character through a journey in an isometric world, and then can engage in battle encounters with automata using their alchemical powers. In battle, the player combines the base alchemical elements together in order to invoke and cast spells that they have selected for the battle, using a limited supply of alchemical resources. They also have the potential to accumulate "shadow" as they play, which can increase difficulty throughout the levels, or introduce surprise encounters.
Extra Notes
Our game design document lists a few more things than we fully got to implement due to unforeseen circumstances among our team, and general scope changes. However, the core of our game is still the same and everything has been built to expand toward the initial plans of our demo scope and beyond!
