  • Alchemy is not a catch-all for magic. Alchemy is about transformation, synthesis, combination, and hidden knowledge. This doesnt feels alchemy-ish to me. I can see how shadows plays into the game, but not alchemy.

Exchanges in the Depths is a Dungeon Crawler FPS, centered around finding runes, exploration and fighting off monsters

Controls are in game, but are as follows:
WASD - Move
Left Shift - Sprint
Tab - Inventory
1/2/3 - Change Equipped item
E - Interact (Pick up object, traverse a door)
Left Click - Shoot
R - Reload

Adding/Removing runes is done from the inventory, place the object, the rune to add and press the add button. Remove runes by placing an object that has them attached into the remove slot and pressing the button. This will remove all attached runes.

Be on the lookout for things like false walls, some have upgrades.

Extra Notes
Animations, sound and music unfortunately could not make the cut due to time constraints

Known issues:
-The room with the first key will have the odd enemy stuck in a wall
-The key will not disappear from inventories when used (it can't be used, it just remains in the inventory and can be modified with runes until the player picks up another key)
-An odd UI message will overlap if some things are picked up fast enough
