- Really good game. I got stuck in one part, which is fine. But it made me think of the run back it took to get to where I was getting stuck and thinking how long it was. Might be better to add in a few more checkpoints. Please use WASD for movement or give the players the choice to change the movement keybinds. I would have given you 5 stars for art if the enemies had their sprites managed a bit better. The sprite would walk off platform sometimes. It also would have nice to have seen like a head bob or some other animation on the enemies when they moved. The theme was implemented, but not in an outstanding way. Overall, I think you have a super strong submission here. The game was fun and the platforming was well thought out.
- I was unable to move. I would have enjoyed some settings where I could change the keybinds, dont like Arrow-key controls. The visuals which are visible from the start, are nicely done. Looking at the GDD for more information, I believe you could have done more with the theme than just potions and shadow monsters. I hope to see you make something for the next Jam as well!
