  • I would have liked a short tutorial in game to explain what the different things did. I only really got to run around in the shaddow trying to avoid things without understanding it. levels and characters looks nice tho :)

Tell us about your game!
The story follows a shadow in search of its owner. Starting as only a blob, over the course of the full game she starts to resemble her owner. By the end it becomes a question whether the shadow is now its own master as a fully formed entity.

The main mechanic is avoiding light. You can use the shadow portals to "Shadow Walk" around the map. Special orbs will give you abilities to help you avoid the light. Flickr (Yellow Orb) allows you to temporarily turn a light off, while Mimic (Pink Orb) allows you to dive into the shadow of a creature and move with them until it is safe to exit.

Each level will have you search for a portal to the next realm, discovering more of the adventure.

Controls (shown during play)
Right-Click to move
Left-Click to enter a shadow portal when you are close.
Left-Click to exit a visible shadow portal when you are inside one.
When you have gathered orbs you can use abilities
Q to activate Flickr, Left-Click to choose which light to turn off
W to activate Mimic, Lift-Click the shadow of an NPC to enter it.
Left-Click near the NPC to exit the shadow.

Extra Notes
Godot HTML export is causing the following things to break; Pause Menu, Scene changes to main menu, Flashing lights, reuse of abilities.
