  • Card games are difficult to pull off. The card interactions are thought out well and allow for unique combinations. Art is enjoyable and sounds match well. Shadow theme is a bit sparse but otherwise well done! Make more games!

From the GDD, it looks like you got a multiplayer testing build working during the jam. That's really cool!

Instructions/tutorial are dumped on the player too fast, I had to consult the GDD to remember what the rules of the game were. I get that it's a game prototype, so a full tutorial is probably too much to ask at this point, but maybe just have a button the player can click at any time to see the rules of the game instead of having npcs say it once and then the player just has to remember?

There are a lot of grammatical errors, which is understandable because from the GDD, it looks like Portugese is your first language and English is your second language, right? There are a few spelling errors too though, you could easily fix those just by putting your game's script in Word/Google Docs and looking at what the spell checker says is wrong.

The player on the dungeon area feels sluggish, I want it to move faster.

I like the mechanic of being able to "overspend" mana, it's cool but seems tricky to implement from a game balance perspective, I hope you can make it work!

Lastly, I don't see a credits page, but you mention you did this with a team; give them credit on the game's page!

Hey there, thanks for playing  our first game we're group of 3, 35+ yrs old, we did our best with the little time we could spare from our work routines and family time, we really appreciate you took the time to write this review, thank you for the feedback.

Yeah the game was kinda rushed, we lost lots of time with the previous prototype of a multiplayer game, we had this cool ideia for the card game mechanics with bonus effects and overspending mana, but didn't have enough time to do proper balancing and testing, we will continue to improve our game, we think that this mechanics are cool and if well implemented and balanced we can make something fun.

PS: didn't know where I could've credited my group, will credit then on the itch page.
