  • Once I got my first insanity point the game wouldn't let me progress. Hard to tell what the actual mechanic is as it seems it's an RNG based off the number of demons I summoned before harvesting. Clean design and great sound effects. Just a little lost as a new player.

You are a cultist attempting to summon and harvest a demon soul to gain its power. But demonic rituals are a dangerous business... don't lose your mind in the process.

Dark Whispers is a push-your-luck sort-of-card game, based around building a library of powerful incantations to summon a demon soul. Incantations are randomly played during the round. They can progress the ritual, or drive you mad, or have other special effects - it's up to you to decide how much you want to push your luck. Knowledge gained from each round can be spent on researching new incantations to add to your library.

Win by completing the ritual and harvesting the summoned soul! But don't be driven insane by your incantations, or run out of time...
