- I love the dialogue! It was really entertaining and immersed me in the story immediately (poor Gizmo!). The controls were easy enough, although it wasn't clear which I needed to use (I tried WASD but it didn't work, so I swapped to the arrows, which felt less natural). I think the theme implementation was great. I loved the art style. I would suggest adding more text tips in the form of a tutorial while the player is handling that initial first brew (perhaps to indicate what stations accomplish which tasks). I did REALLY like that you had the relevant areas highlighted for each object, so that gave me enough of a clue about where I should process each material. My only other suggestion is to add audio! Some of the processes (chopping, brewing, even walking) would feel a bit more satisfying with some sort of audible response to input.

Our game has a simple narrative, loosely based on the characters of the What We Do in the Shadows TV series. Here we have Lazlo (vampire) giving instructions on how to brew a potion, with Nandor (vampire) and Gizmo (human) as the two playable characters completing the tasks. The catch however, is that Nandor can't go into the light, and Gizmo can't see in the dark. Grab the correct ingredient, process it at the appropriate station, then toss it into the brew. Once all three ingredients have been added, the potion will brew. Don't leave it too long, or it will spoil. And, pay attention to whether the potion must be brewed in Light, Shade, or Darkness!
Arrow keys controls character movement. Tab switches characters. Space interacts.

I'm a fan of What We Do in the Shadows, and I enjoyed your entry. I thought you utilized the themes well (light, shadow, alchemy, and themes from the TV series). Although there wasn't a lot of instruction about the actual cooking, the user interface & presentation made it easy to figure out what needed to be done. Good job on a solid entry!
