- The game feels complex and challenging. I think the written content is a nice touch, but the initial letter feels much to long for the opening of the game. Players who like this sort of thing will read, but it can be helpful to emphasize the most essential parts or make the writing more concise to get the player into the game a little bit faster. I would suggest using some sort of styling (bolding, for instance) to emphasize the key things you want players to know from that letter) and making this initial letter slightly shorter. Once players are in the game and invested, I think they'll be more likely to read through longer written content. I'd also recommend placing the written notes somewhere more visible. I didn't initially realize I could click and drag them from the side of the screen, so I thought their placement was a bug.

I believe the game speaks for itself in many regards. It's a lot of reading, but most of everything is explained in there in some form or should be second nature (things like moving things around by clicking them and stuff).
Extra Notes
One thing to note for the judges, our main artist, Carl_Wheezer, was unable to do as much as we would have liked during the Jam. As a result, the one piece of art he drew is the key art for main menu, icon, transition scenes... we use it a lot because it's really good. I (advance2112) drew most of everything else. I am not an artist, and that will be obvious very quickly.

I love the atmosphere of the game, It felt a bit like 'dear esther': mysterious, calming, intreaging. This has a lot of potential <3
