  • Really great character design! The world was great too and simple to navigate. Great idea to explore, gather ingredients, and make potions. Wasn't able to find where/how to make potions, though I see the cauldron in the pictures. Darker lighting would make sense, as you noted the web export killed that. I'll judge according to the pictures you shared. Great game vision and implementations of the theme! Really wanted to explore and play more. GG!
  • This game made me think of a fantasy version of Paper Mario while playing. I very much liked the work done regarding the art from the player, enemies, items and environment as a whole. With regard to the themes, I think being able to experiment with whatever you're able to collect and then use them accordingly to fend of any enemies you come across is a decent combat tactic, and in my opinion, does fairly well for this style of game where you're probably not going to know if something you've approached is an item you can use or an actual enemy you need to avoid. I found this to be interesting and fun during my time playing. I believe that the usage of both themes didn't fully come across outside of crafting potions and maybe the way the darker environment was structured. Along with this, I felt that even though the controls made sense, I wasn't too big on the set camera angle (not including the shit it does while moving), as it felt like I was limited to how much I could see when dealing with having to evade enemies I then realized were starting to chase after me. Overall, I believe you still did quite a good job, so keep up the hard work.

Tell us about your game!
You go around collecting potion brewing ingredients in what is supposed to be the dark while avoiding hazardous enemies, solving puzzles, repairing your boat and restoring power to your lighthouse.

Extra Notes
Web export killed our lighting, is supposed to be significantly darker/spookier
