  • I enjoyed this game from the intro menu on. Taking the card and putting it onto play or quit is a nice touch. Great sound design. The little features of this game were *chefs kiss* Implementation was excellent. At times the text was difficult for me to read but I understand the vibe you're going for and it all came together well artistically. The tutorial was really well done. The pacing of the game was superb. Each shadow card had it's own phase to hit you and the player could clearly see what was going on with that card and thus learn quickly. I definitely want to play this more! I am a fan of card games and this one hit a lot of great points. Excellent theme interpretation and implementation. Unique, to be sure!

Yes

Tell us about your game!
A solo card game inspired by Balatro but if it was Solitaire. Use your Ingredient cards to complete Elixirs, to gain powerful effects and win the game, but be careful... there is always the chance you draw a shadow card instead.

Extra Notes
Instead of focusing on content, my focus for this jam was to get a polished and playable slice of the game done, complete with "interactive" tutorial.

Really nice game! Definitely very promising. I love the polish and the helpful, well-done tutorial.
I was kinda sad when the level was over: kinda wanted to keep playing ;)
