- The gameplay is extremely complex. It might have a tough time being enjoyed by players. I like the concept, but it's a little convoluted. You have to prep in the middle of fighting enemies to actually be able to fight, usually you want the combat to feel smooth and easy to figure out. The camera tilt and the red effect for the screen can make some people nauseous.

Hidden Essence is a short, first-person shooter with an "Essence" mechanic! Enemies can be converted to essence, which can be used to cast spells.
