- The Idea of the game seems fun interesting with hint of mystery. The art looks cool, Although from GDD I can understand main idea it is still pretty difficult to grasp a gameplay mechanics. Game would be easier to improve if you would add to the GDD on how game mechanics should work as well. Of what I can see it looks promising and will be waiting for more updates in the future.
- The game is unfortunately not where the GDD says it wants to be. The Theme is well adapted and a clever way to dip in between the concepts, though it might have been better to use albedo and nigredo to dip into the alchemy's magnum opus and take that route. The artistic style of the current version is very weird. I personally found it unpleasant to look at.
Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
No (To avoid requiring downloads the link to the google doc is in the first line of the itch.io game description)
Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Same as above

Null & Nill is a game about outlooks and personal growth. In each of the offered story paths "Something" and "Nothing," the player is introduced to outlooks on things that are and things that aren't, and the cyclical nature of how we define those things, as an allegory of Worth. In the path of Something, you play as Null. A character that struggles to understand how Something can be anything if Something is always changing. In the path of Nothing you play as Nill. A character that struggles to understand how Nothing can be anything if Nothing looks like something. In their explorations to understand what those things mean to them, they go out on missions to expand their powers of Alchemy and shadow for deeper perspectives. Until eventually, conflicting ideologies come to meet. Who knows what happens then?
Controls are in the game description under the GDD link. The game is unfortunately in an extremely unfinished version, even as a prototype. More information can be found under "Reflection" and "Next Steps" section of the GDD.
Extra Notes
My first time joining a game jam! While my submission is far from where I hoped it would be at this point in time, I'm still proud and glad I joined. The project won't end here and will continue to see updates long after the jam is over. Thank you for being awesome.
