  • The game works as intended, though it is awkward to use in some cases where abilities should be used rapidly after one another. The theme is loosely there, though Shadow is personally a tad too low for me, but it is very clear where it doesn't work and where it works. I think the mechanics needs a bit more tweaking and testing to get a good challenging game, as right now it is either to cumbersome or too trivial. Needs more polishing.

the vision was to have a pedestal where two runes could combine powers to help the player, there wasn't enough time for this to be fully fleshed out. the player instead uses runes in their inventory to cause one of four effects to occur. 1 selects the air effect which makes the player lighter, increasing jump height and speed, 2 selects the fire effect throwing out a fire ball from the runic shadow, 3 selects the water effect sending a wave out from the player, knocking back the enemies and 4 selects the earth effect, surrounding the player in a shield of heavy rock, weighing the player down but making them invulnerable to attacks until the effect wears off
