• The player avatar is cute and movement feels really satisfying. When trying to merge items, it's hard to click on the "merge" button without clicking on another item in the inventory, so I end up with multiple menus opened and I'm unable to merge anything. It's also a little unclear how to give items to the people inside the tavern. It would be helpful to have a singular station for merging items and creating potions, as well as some more guidance in the form of text tips to make it easier to figure out how to do these things. Creative use of the shadow portion of the theme! I like how the shadowed area causes sanity drain, but some of the shadowed area has non shadowed pixels, and my thought was that those would be areas of respite. I think that would be cool, but it appears that the sanity drain also occurs in those areas.
