- Hello! Your GDD is a PDF file, but a requirement for this game jam is that it be a Google Doc instead. I'll still give you some feedback to help you out since your game is playable on web, but I will not be able to read the GDD. It looks like you used your own hand-drawn art, which looks great. It's a good idea to do that because it then allows you to focus most of your attention on the gameplay instead. At first I was unsure what to do (since I did not read your GDD), but after dying the first time I learned quickly that darkness lowers sanity rapidly. Next life I figured out how to light the pillars with the fire potion, and found that it's basically an exploration game through fog of war (or shadows) where you have extremely limited time in the dark! :) If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to be slightly more forgiving with the darkness, perhaps lower sanity half as fast as you do now. That will give players a chance to explore slightly. I definitely felt like when I died or was losing sanity, that it was 100% my fault because I walked in the wrong direction or was not careful enough. That is GOOD. I think you've got the start of an interesting game here that is fun to play. You want the player to feel like mistakes and death are their fault, and not the fault of a game being too difficult or having game-breaking bugs. And that is exactly what you're doing well here.

Extra Notes
was supposed to be converted to mobile in the future, part of this submission was to get more insight about deploying stuff on mobile. Also godot and web export using gdscript, as an ex unity enthusiast, previous gamejam was bound to c#, web export was limited, so progress :D
