- Overall really cool concept and good use of the shadow portion of the theme. However, I don't the alchemy part of the theme implemented, other than in the title. It would be cool to make it so you have to click to proceed through the intro screens. I missed reading one or two lines of the intro because it went too fast and the font is difficult to read. Movement feels a bit jumpy. It feels like I slide a bit far on a single click, and since there's a lot of movement from the enemy, it's hard to feel like I have precise enough control over movement to win. I LOVE the idea of the shadow using spells the player used on a previous run (great planned feature). Once I became a shadow, I couldn't see any clear way to start over. The game just seemed stuck.
- Hello! Nice start on a game. Thanks for joining the game jam! Your GDD looks like it was written after you made the game. I'd suggest you try next time to write it first, so you can explore the ideas you have before actually starting on them. It will help you validate what sounds like it would work well, and will help you plan out what is most important to focus on in the next 2 weeks. By the way... I hope there's a next time! You should definitely enter again :) I noticed a small issue with your inventory labelling, it was "Q" then "Q" and then the last two were blank. I'm assuming you meant to do "Q W E R" for those. Possibly you just ran out of time. An improvement you could look into is some nice, soft, repeatable background music and sound effects for when you're using an attack. You can probably find something for these on free asset websites online. Just make sure you get commercial usage rights before you use them - even if you don't intend to necessarily sell your game, it's a good thing to do as a precaution. Good job, hope to see more from you.

Cast spells, spells accumulate shadows, if shadow reaches critical value you become shadow and finish your run. Don't get killed, don't become shadow, reach the second door in the map.
