Alright so this is a classic adventure game where the protagonist is told where he can find adventure. S/he runs into an abandoned castle that seems weirdly alive for being told it's abandoned. There are traps on the way to the tower, but the protagonist keeps moving forward. They eventually meet the individual squatting here who is a wizard that is perplexed to see someone in his study. The wizard appears stressed as the relics on his ritual table start to vibrate. He yells “i'll handle it” and shoots at the protagonist starting the encounter.
After the protagonist dodge the fireballs, blocks the magic spears, eventually the table will open and begin pulling the room into it. The protagonist slams his sword into the floor and holds on for their life. The wizard gets one final shot in at the player cursing them. The castle crumbles and starts to crumble around the protagonist and they frantically look for a way, they can see light in the next room through a hole in the wall. The protagonist assures themself “If I get there, it might have a way out.” As they step towards the hole, they find themselves in that room. Unfortunately, they feel pain from the magic they just performed and notice their feet are starting to turn to shadow

However I am not satisfied with the work I completed and summited in the time frame...however I learned alot and had fun doing it.

I'm not sure if I missed some mechanics but all I figured out was jumping, and was able to make it to the end screen. I think the idea is very interesting and I did think that the visual effects on the fire/shadow was cool!

It sounds like you have a lot of ideas about the finished product, and it sounds very ambitious! I can tell from what you've written that you maybe didn't have all the time you wanted to work on the game but it also sounds like you have a lot of passion for working more on it which is fantastic! Good luck!
