- Neat little game. Story is good and the theme is implemented well.

Game Pitch:
Wic-Light is a top down adventure game set in a steampunk world where the Candles live together in bright harmony. When darkness descends on their world for the first time, spreading nightmares and inky blackness. What started as a mission to save his brother from the growing threat, becomes an adventure to save all his people.
Player Experience:
The demo consists of a single puzzle dungeon to solve. The story is set before the player enters the playable dungeon. Darkness is spreading across the land and your people are being destroyed or turned into nightmares and shadows. The player will be challenged to get through the dungeon to save their father from the darkness. By changing light sources in the rooms, by lighting different oil lamps, enemies will be able to be damaged. Using basic 4 directional combat, and the changing of light within the dungeon the player will have to solve two puzzles and a combat experience to complete the demo.
Theme Interpretation - Gameplay:
Spreading darkness into a world that has never known darkness while using light sources to clear the way. Spreading light and Spreading shadow can be equally important and powerful. Using his natural abilities to make fireballs, Wic can push back the darkness and spread the light to save his brother.
Theme Interpretation - Art:
The land of those who live with light struggle versus the all encompassing darkness that weakens their flame. In order to do this, we had to create contrast between light and dark. However, for the art we wanted to focus not just on light and dark, but on the effects of the spreading darkness on creatures that must have light to survive. He must use his own power of flame to light the room, which poses a danger to himself.
