Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • This game is pretty unpolished but holds potential. Only being able to attack into the direction you're moving in is counterintuitive.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
It's a game about a plant creature that wants to conquer the human kingdom because they threaten its forests.

You go forth to conquer a few human territories. Whenever you win one of your fights, you win a skill point, and can upgrade yourself. Your enemies grow stronger over time as well...

Should you perish, so will your forests, so be careful!

Controls:
A and D - Movement
Space - Jump
Left Mouse Button - Light Attack
Right Mouse Button - Heavy Attack (Heavy attack can be cancelled by jumping, removing recovery window)

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes, it's in the downloadable files on the download page. (Google doc link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/121OBs6tCLd3d3siaGA1GBPa2JxNr3yGvPaLaQNq399s/edit?usp=sharing)

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
To Thor - I just want to thank you for your content. I've been struggling with being productive and taking some time to actually make games for a while now. You've given me the spark to get back into game dev again, as well as start getting a few programming certificates. I do feel like this entry is rather disappointing but I'm looking forward to the next game jam!
