Tell us about your game!
Ember of Hope is a game made for Game Jam 14 in January of 2024 hosted by Pirate Software. It is a vertical slice of gameplay focused on demonstrating as much of the gameplay as could be completed in time for submission.
(Contact info in the GDD, Do not contact if you are not Thor, a Judge or a PirateSoftware Moderator.)

The story is that of a young dragon hatchling, Ember. Who awakes in a dark and tumultuous time where hope is fleeting but as a Dragon attuned to the Goddess of Hope, Spera and with the power to undo this calamity.

Light action and puzzles are two of the main elements to go along side exploring environments and restoring hope and warmth to a hopeless and drull land.

Simple controls described in the GDD and the Game Jam to allow people new to games to pick it up easily and we intended to include elements of puzzles and strategy that would allow more experienced gamers to find interesting and creative solutions. (Even if the latter did not materialize as intended due to time)

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
Thank you for the fun experience with this Game Jam, we bit off a little bit more than we could chew in some regards but we did our best and hope you enjoy what we put ourselves too. Its not perfect, but you gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet.
