  • Interesting game, would love to see further development

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Mechanics:
- Bullet-Hell dodging with 8-directional movement at a set speed.
- Growth system upon failure so anyone can complete the game... at a cost...
- Humanity: can you control yourself to learn or take outside help?

Story:

Outside of the bullet hell is a narrative following Buck, a buck, and his goal to protect his home. At the start we see the forest being overtaken by the growth of humans. Buck and his friend Bear try their best to slow or stop the humans. How is Buck continuously getting back into the fight so soon? How is he getting stronger? The decisions made during the growth mechanic and during the narrative will lead you to different last bosses.

Controls:
- WASD/Arrow Keys: 8-Directional Movement
- Left click (Mouse): interactions and attacking

Notes: The rough dialogue was made and a lot of TODO's are in the story to make the deadline. I hope the dialogue summaries are enough the get the idea across
- I mean a lot too, almost everything after the first boss is TODO's dialogue summary.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
Thank you Thor and all the judges for taking your time to look at all of our games. Pirate software Shorts > into VODs > into streams helped me get into this hobby/vocation so I hope you all enjoy my first game!
