  • Movement feels very slow, and game loop feels like there are missing a game core. Graphic-wise the lines of each tiles do not feels good for the eyes, so it need to smooth out. I encountered an weird bug with the spread and had to restart the game twice. GDD looks basic, but it does the job!
  • This game is really fun. Playability: It starts by nicely easing you into the mechanics and ends on a level that really makes you think to solve it. The movement feels a little slow, which felt a little frustrating when trying to move fast in the final level. Overall you executed this super well. Theme: You very closely followed the theme. I would have hoped to see a little deviation from the theme to innovate on it. Cleverness: The stunning mechanic was a really nice mechanic that helps you plenty throughout gameplay. I would have liked to see more mechanics to outsmart the monster. Artistic Style: The art style in this game feels very homemade and it fits the game very very well. The music sounds intimidating, but does not get repetitive. The audio balancing was a bit off, but generally this is not a huge problem to me. Very well done! I enjoyed your game.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
The goal of the game is to pick up the yellow antidote vial and then cure a purple monster with it.
Movement is WASD and grid based, but you can hold down a key to continuously move in that direction.
A popup will tell you when you can stun/cure with E. The stun will briefly stop that particular monster from expanding.
R will reset the level
You can press tab to pull up a "pause menu" which has instructions on how to both restart and exit the level.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yep

Extra Notes
This is my first game jam, and I'm just happy I was able to get something submitted as a complete playable game! I had a ton of fun and learned a lot!
