  • Definitely way too obtuse and confusing. I understand this was partly on purpose but as it stands it's just way too frustrating and had me spam random controls until something worked, which didn't make me feel like I was playing a game.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Simple point and click adventure like the legends of old. However my budget was limited so I did away with the clicking and opted for more limited set of controls.

I hope that the story will be apparent from the moment you first meet your unfortunate end. And if you can finish without any such incident, all the better for the world I think.

This isn't that much of a prototype - I wanted to create a small self-contained and mostly complete piece. However due to time constraints it lacks bit too much of a polish for my taste, some 10-ish more hours would do wonders but that is life.
(Or you could go ham and say it's a prototype and redo everything. However I don't think it's that good of an idea to do that.)

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
My brother did ~2 of the scenes and it shows. I really can't draw. Not that he an artist either, but he is definitely better than me.
Drawing tablets are awesome.
Don't forget your connectors at home, it will make the tablet into a nice chopping board. Fortunately I had most of the big stuff done. Can you spot where I had to make do with mouse?
If not, then at least there is some use to my drawing "talent".
