  • Not a bad game. The only thing I had a major issue with was the fact that there's no real visual, or audio, feedback that tells the player they're even taking damage. So, I was very confused as to what was going on when the game would just end and say I lost. Also the main menu instructions don't make it clear that the player must avoid touching the infection. These two things combined made the initial playthroughs a bit confusing. Other than that, not bad!

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
This is game is a take on bullet hell's where you can't shoot, but are able to absorb bullets and dodge around them. The current implementation is just a single room, but the story would be something along the lines of test tubes which are rooms in which the cell will combat various types of viruses. As you get further along the cell can be upgraded.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Interesting.

Here are my notes from playing:

  • Balance could be improved. Was too easy.
  • More levels or different waves.
  • Wish the infection would attack the body and have to defend.
  • Possible to kind of just sit back and not deal with the infection at all
  • Instruction screen was a bit overwhelming

Thanks for reviewing! I would have loved to had been able to make some more levels, something we had in mind was "test tubes" that you would fight different strains of viruses with various waves, and maybe like a boss battler where you could battle the biggest baddest strains you've seen again. My testers was a 9 and 13 year old so I appreciate hearing the too easy part.  I kept telling my wife that it needs to be a little harder, but let's keep that between you and me so I can keep sleeping inside :D
Have a wonderful day, I will play your game and leave you a review soon!
