  • Neat idea, but the game needs some work. The attacking is way too slow, the controls feel odd. The game does a good job of implementing the theme and that's what matters most, so kudos. Keep working on this!

Short story:

Mist is a game where you play a knight that guarded a tower one night a Huge mist show up and weird creature start appearing from it.
There isn't any sound beside the sound of the light you hold.
Hopefully there is light beacon across the country they might be able to save you and keep your light strong.

The main mechanic of the game is that you can't hit anything in the fog and the less light you have the more the fog will eat you.
the beacon can help you restore your health if activated. Care the MistWalker steal your light and try to pull you in the mist.

The controls:

WASD or arrows key to move
Left click attack
Right click drop a torch
E to interract

Behind the project:

I developed this game alone on untiy 2022.
I'm in my final year of CS master degree at UQAC && my engineering diploma at Polytech Lyon.

I thought the ambience and mist mechanic really helped make it feel like a creepy experience! I couldn't figure out if there was a way to win as I found 4 beacons and lit them but nothing seemed to happen. I also appreciated having a tutorial level! Good job!
