Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarize your game!
A top down shooter roguelite with fantasy elements

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
I'd like to leave that up to the individuals own interpretation without subconsciously creating a bias.

Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
None and its very obvious from my artwork.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Pay particular attention to their local human society. They do good stuff. All of my work is silly and deserves no attention.

I like the simplicity of this game, but I love the art style. The pixel art that is also not quite pixel art is really cool! I would like to understand what the upgrades do when I select them, it did feel as though I was blindly making a choice not knowing how they benefit me, if they benefit at all. Overall I like what you managed to achieve.

Developer

Thanks! Its a very simple game I figured it would make the game a bit more roguelite to be vague with the level-up menu but here's what they do:

Cold Blooded Killer - Instantly Clears all Hellhound for 0xp

Solomon's Wisdom- Adds a small amount of mana

Quick Learner - Adds a modest ammount of XP (very useful to get blizzard unlocked at 10)

Flash of Healing- Restores 1 hp to player and 5 to the party hp.

Some other useful hints as the game is actually kinda challenging towards the end :

Blizzards negate the Imp firebolts

Ogres never attack you, so run up the stairs and jump of a ledge for good kiting. (Theres a bug if u jump off the ledge near the right wall it will zip you down to the bottom of the map. I kind of like it so i never fixed)
