Description
Genre: Classical - brass and percussion ensemble

Theme:

Two Worlds
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I had an idea of a game in which the player character would find themself traversing a fiery hell, not much unlike their home world above, but just very hot. I think this soundtrack captures this very hot, fiery character that I was going for.

Love this idea haha. Unless you were specifically going for that soundfont sound, though, I would recommend looking into some free orchestral VSTs like Spitfire LABS and BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover

Hi, thanks for the tip! I actually spent nearly half of the time I spent on this jam just trying to figure out how to get soundfonts to work on Sibelius. In that time, I managed to install some very clean sounds for percussion instruments, and once I had that down, I knew had to buckle down on writing or I wouldn't make the deadline.

For the next jam, I will learn a new DAW and take a look at the VSTs you recommended! Stay tuned :D

A mixture between 16-bit, marching-orchestra, doom-music, and an I-IV-V chord progression. It was quite interesting, and it sounded surprisingly fitting to the description.

One question tho: Musescore? Sure looks and sounds like (in terms of recognizing, or am I mistaken?).

Definitely another nice soundtrack.

Avid Sibelius, actually! I'll learn a new DAW for next jam though. Stay tuned 😎

I really like this track! It’s full of character and has a great leitmotif to it. It really reminds me of a 16-bit JRPG, and can definitely see this being a combat section. Great track! :)
