Description
This is for a cute type of racing game like mario kart, mixed with adventure RPG game elements - the track is supposed to evoke the feelings of the final stretch of a journey.

Artist comment:
Thank you for listening to my track - the Last Ready Set Go.

Theme:

Two Worlds

How does it fit the theme?
I chose the two worlds theme. In this piece you - the hero - are ascending into the heavens to face your final fight. This piece is the feeling of leaving everything behind to face the final moment. The two worlds of who you were, and who you've become - what it's all been for, and the literal two worlds of the transition between leaving your home world, to face the final fight in the heavens where your final fight waits for you.

Superman leitmotif here, not that it matters

Love this, I'm sure I was influenced by this. John Williams is the man! I actually got to go to his 80th birthday celebration in Tanglewood. What a legend. <3

That’s amazing!! Did you meet the legend in the flesh? I agree, we all have our influence, John Williams is definitely one of mine.

Very vibrant. The amount of work you put into it is amazing! Thanks for sharing the video. I love the Superman leitmotif being used in 2:10. Easily one of my favourites :)

The only thing for me is that the volume sounds a bit too low if compared with the other tracks that I've heard so far. Did you master it at -14 LUFS?

Hi Anthony! I was not aware the Superman leitmotif was in here! Could you share with me that leitmotif? Also, I agree, the mix is quiet. Especially when compared with the other tracks. Too bad I couldn't reupload it! Thank you for your comment. Looking forward to hearing the superman piece, and your piece as well!

I like this track a lot, really fun main motif and such a pleasant listen! I do think it might have profited from a little more dynamic range though, like the brass having a little more oomph in certain parts. Also, I think the track is missing a few instruments at the lower end of the frequency spectrum. I could imagine a double bass simply playing some sustained bass notes over certain parts of the song would have helped to add a little variety.

Also, I have no idea how you would mix a cute racing game with an RPG, but I totally wanna try it!

Nice balance between ambience and melodic parts. I also like the call&response elements with the main motif. Very creative!

I really enjoyed this! It feels so happy, and really does give the feeling of "ascending into the heavens". great job!

This is... just wow. So pleasant. There were a dark chord choice though (i think the bII chord around 0:34), that while i liked, seems like it might not be well suited to the mood you described. However that darkness is quickly broken by the gorgeous section right after, so perhaps it was intentional haha (in fact it fits the two worlds theme now that I think of it!). Also is reminiscent of the BOTW soundtrack in some ways, which is a good thing! Tossed you a sub on Youtube

This is such a fun song! It makes me so happy just listening to it, it's just so whimsical! It's honestly stuck in my head at this point. This is probably my favorite song that I've heard in the jam so far, and that's saying something, because I've loved almost every song I've listened to. Fantastic job!
