What did this game do well?

So fun! I found myself playing over and over trying to get a higher score. I really like the graphics especially when you actually put out a fire the animation is really cool. I also loved that you had to travel to the houses. It made the game feel more intense as you’re running around trying to put out fires. Really nice idea, potential to be a educational game. Has a tutorial before game starts. The game could not load for me, so I am going off by the demo from class. *The graphics felt very cohesive. *The concept felt novel, and the idea of putting out different types of fires made the idea very interesting The game concept is very unique. I really like the graphics and the command.

This game offers simple comprehension and enjoyable gameplay, enhanced by the assortment of three distinct fires, adding to its amusement. I think the audio and effects/animation aspects really enhance the game feel. It strengthens the tension and urgency in putting out the fires, like how real-life fire fighters struggles to protect people’s safety. Also, I like how each tools correspond to fires with different causes. I think it also has an educational purpose which teaches people how to pick the right method to put off fires in reality.

What could this game have done better?

I was a bit confused at first because I forgot exactly what the controls were and what tool puts out specific types of fires. It might be helpful to have a key at the top that disappears after a while or an info icon that you can click for help. Some of the colliders with the cars also caused small issues but overall everything was great! Currently the game is too easy. Try to add difficulty by making a more complicated map, e.g. traffic jam, broken bridge, so that players need to carefully plan their route. Can also try to combine different types of fires, so that players need to come up with the correct order to put out the fire. *Blaring engine sound effects were good, but got annoying after a while and made it hard for me to enjoy the game. As the topic was game feel, I think the game feel could have been added more. For example when the fire is getting extinguished could have added more animations

The presence of cars adds an intriguing challenge to extinguishing fires along the path, yet instances of cars getting stuck on both sides can render the player completely immobile. I think the instruction screen can be better, because I was a little bit confused with how to enter the actual game scene after reading all the game-play instructions.
