I love the overall concept and aesthetics of the game! It was very interesting and I like how school supplies are used as game weapons and you have a limited number of ammo. It reminds me of RE where you really have to be sparse with the bullets you're shooting. The zombies and slimes really help with showcasing the utility of the two weapons and the crouch mechanism
The overall idea and concept of the game is very cohesive in terms of both art and gameplay. It reminded me of when I played Pokemon on my gameboy. It feels like a fun twist for the class.
The art style and aesthetic are amazing. The concept and setting are really good too. It is a nice twist on a run and gun.
Nice art style
The game's assets were beautiful, they really set the mood for the game and were very reminiscent of some old school pixel art with a modern feel
The art style/assets are amazing. I really liked the weapon being a mechanical pencil and how that plus health worked to make a fun zombie-esque fighter game.
I think the theming and slime are very cool visually and interesting to play.
I really like the art of the game. Its very cute and well done. I also like how the controls are displayed
The overall aesthetic and theming is very strong and relevant to our local community. Styling is strong and carries the theme and inspirations from zombie and old-school pokemon games well. Resources are well indicated and are clear what they are for.

What could this game have done better?

I think the speed of the bullet can be a lot faster - fixing that will help players effectively use the weapons and complete more levels. I also think the enemies in the first level can be moved back a lot more or be placed in the second level because the players have not been taught the shooting mechanism in game at that point.
Very disappointed that you can't click the ESC key to win when it says 'ESC TO WIN' in the 2nd room (just kidding!!). It'd feel better if the attack speed for the led and computer was faster (slow on my pc). Also, it'd be cool if there is also a melee option for the player to utilize.
The movement and attacks were a bit clunky so that could be improved.
Crouching seems pointless in this game, as enemies will just hit me anyways, and theres no flying enemies to avoid. Pen is so slow for some inexplicable reason as a projectile, the laptop provides no benefits over the pen (wasn't tutorialized on what its supposed to be used for).
I didn't really get to get through much so I don't know if this was a fair review, but I wasn't sure how to play the game properly and proceed
I wish the pencil attacks were a bit faster, I kept finding myself spamming the pencil and moving forward to be outrunning the pencil.
I think the speed of the initial enemies makes it hard to get to all of the mechanics before enemies show up. This seems to encourage just rushing the exit rather than figuring out how to properly play the game.
The difficulty of the game is a bit hard, also wish the bullets did more damage
The controls are lacking a lot of fluidity, this could use some work to make player controls feel better. Projectiles from the player's main combat mechanic are incredible slow making combat feel awful. Resources are not prominent on the screen and blend into background, they also go off screen even when full screened but even more so when not.
I would suggest a little more variety to the resources implemented into the game, as it seems like it is just health and various ammo types.
