What did this game do well?

I thought the noises were funny, splatter and effects were aplenty and you definitely felt like you were smashing a watermelon

I think this game captures the simplicity of what can be done with game feel in a straightforward game. I liked the simple weapons system and the game felt nice with the particles and splashes.

I really like that you guys incorporated a mini game to this game feel. The incorporation of the game feels to the watermelon is creative and fun. In addition, the difference with and without the game feel is definitely noticeable with this mini game. I like the particle and the splash effects the most. It really brings out the game feels.

A lot more addicting than you would think. I like how it's a toy and you can actually play around with it. The different options for beating the watermelon up was fun as well. The sound effect is funny and it somehow works well with the concept of the game.

The watermelon break effect is satisfying. The sounds of the attacks are punchy.

Good use of effects even tho the sound of the watermelon getting hurt and dying was annoying. I enjoyed the gameplay because it reminded me so much of Interactive Buddy, a flash game on andkon.com. The addition of currency to buy weapons was fun and it made the game more enjoyable because I had to grind to get something better.

The overall game feel was very good. I enjoyed rapidly destroying the watermelon over and over again with the variety of options that were given. The feedback for killing the watermelon was good, and the details of the weapons made me really enjoy beating the watermelon

This game is fun and does a great job of making it feel like the watermelon is taking damage.

What could this game have done better?

Although i like the weapon variety, I felt like they didn’t feel super different from each other in terms of actually touching the melon

I think the quality of particles could be better but overall it is really nice.

Some of the game feel toggles do not work as intended. I also do not really know the purpose of the mouse drag of the watermelon for this particular game.

It would've been nice if there were some animations on the watermelon. For example, showing cracks or bullet holes on the watermelon if it got shot or watermelon pieces flying everywhere from the knife.

The 'ow' could have a bit more varied sound effects so it doesn't sound as jarring when hit multiple times in a row

A health bar for the current watermelon would be nice, especially when you are starting off. Also, the gun should reload faster, it takes too long to fire the next shot.

The economy with the money could have been implemented better to not make it feel like a weird limit

It might be nice if the watermelon looks more damaged as it gets hurt since it kind of feels like it just randomly pops at some point.
