What did this game do well?

****************************

The aesthetics and feel of this game were amazing! I personally really enjoyed playing it even though it was repetitive, and I still felt like it was fun throughout

I really enjoy how complex the game is (on our brains) despite its minimalistic design and how simple the rules are. Even despite understanding or getting a hang of the rules, it's still difficult to piece everything together especially when the number of options increase with higher levels. I also like the sound effects and music in the game

This game was really cool. I liked how it was a little difficult at first, but once I developed/used certain systems that were discussed in class (identifying shapes first especially if there was a double shape) it became really fun to play and challenging. The rounds were short and to the point, but gave fair enough time to beat the round. The aesthetic was also a really nice plus.

The gameplay is fun and addictive, the mechanics are amazing, the game is amazing

I think the difficulty ramp was well done and the game concept is really fun.

I loved the art for this game! the colors were very nice, also the gameplay + animations were amazing

The animation and theme of the entire game is amazing. It really is simple and honestly very minimalist, yet extremely intriguing to look at. The itch page itself is also extremely detailed which honestly adds to the game even more. The distorted nature is such a little detail, but really adds to the effect.

This game is very unique. I feel that the difficulty ramps up at a perfect pace, and I feel very encouraged to make another attempt once I lose

What could this game have done better?

****************************

I think the repetitiveness could be something that could be worked on (?) even though I didn't really mind it, but just more variety in the game play and perhaps more connection to the graphics shown

I don't think there is anything else much to improve on. If I had to nitpick, I hope that the game could show which choice was the correct one before the game over screen so the players can realize why their answer choice is wrong.

It could be cool to have a mode where the key reveals slowly or incomplete, but that could also be really hard to implement/balance and isn't at all essential. Otherwise, this game is a perfect prototype to me.

Its perfect, but if expanded on it could be cool to add a leaderboard system

I think the simplicity of the game is quite fun but added game feel elements may make the game more engaging and exciting to the player.

The rules were kind of hard to understand but I think that is a skill issue, sometimes the colors are a little bright

To be honest, the game's concept is... very hard to learn. It took me a bit to figure out exactly what was happening. That initial learning curve is very difficult and maybe a video tutorial would do better? Also I feel like a way to turn down the volume in the game would be cool?

Maybe it could have been possible to have alterations to the formula because as it stands a player will always use the same strategies.
