This game is actually my favourite from this jam, not only it has the least amount of art you can have in a game, but it's also polished and very engaging, a 10/10

Thanks a lot for the positive review, it really made my day. If you some feedback, or critique let me know!

Hey!
Been a long time haha

I played the game on stream if you wanna watch my reaction:

The narrative was really funny because of how real it was, and the game was nice in itself
It's a terminal game, but the presentation is nice (color for the text, text slowly appearing, sound + music...)
Never thought I'd see a terminal game in a gamejam at first haha

I tried to finish the game by getting 100 000$, but the game didn't end, I would have loved it to have an ending

Also, the game feels a bit slow after a while (or maybe it's just because I'm trying to optimize things)

In any case, nice game!

Thank you so much for playing! Yeah some things aren't very clear mentioned in the game. When you have acquired a $100.000 dollars you need to end the day then you get the ending scene. I'm so sorry you didn't get it after playing it so long (I watched the whole thing). But i have a solution, either restart the game and load the game file and end the day for one last time or start again and type 'money' in the main game loop, you will get 100.000 dollars and then end the day you will get the ending scene. The game isn't fully optimized yet there is still some work. Also some extra things: A higher purity of drugs will get you more money than drugs of a lower quality, in settings < audio settings you can turn some music on, new customers will appear every 5 days (up to 9 customers), the mobile home and undercover drug lab lowers the chance of the danger going up, I also produced most of the audio sounds myself, converted them to mp3 and put them in my game. I hope you see this message and still get your ending scene! you deserve it (love from belgium)

Oooh!!
I see!
Gonna peek at the end scene then, thanks!

Hey!
Wanted to say it a while ago, but looks awesome!!
Do you have a gameplay video or the source code available online by any chance? (since virus are sometimes submitted to gamejams)

I'll probably gonna setup a virtual machine to play more games anyways

Developer

Hi, i'm glad you like it! This is my first game so I don't really know how to share my source code. Can I perhaps send a video or something to you taken from my phone?

HostSubmitted

Most people use github for that, already useful if you're in a team! (But it might be a bit complicated to setup, so I understand if you don't haha)

If you make a video, you can try recording using obs (free) for better quality and upload it to youtube
Then you can just click "Edit Game" on itch, and put the link of the video in Gameplay video or trailer :)

Developer

Thanks! I'm planning to use OBS. How long do I still have to upload the video?

HostSubmitted

Well, it's not really required, so just feel free to upload it whenever you want, even if preferably before the end of the voting phase!

Would just potentially prevent me from setting up a virtual machine haha

Developer(+1)

I can assure you there is no virus, but I understand. I will make a video in the next 2 days

Developer(+1)

I posted an install/gameplay video about my game available on my page, I hope you are able to check out my game now!
