Yes, I got the feeling of a walking through a retro city, at nights; kind of a VA11-HALL-A kind of ambiance, and did what I could with that staying in the chiptune genre

Have you made everything by yourself?
Yes. Except the police siren which is a sound effect I modified quite a lot

Did you take inspiration from another creation?
No

This is very good!

The triplets bring something bouncy but it's not quite happy. The mood is ambivalent and that's great.

I feel like you used sidechain with the drums to give it more impact, right?

You're right ! I used sidechaining

I'm an EDM producer, so sidechaining is part of the stuff I setup by default when I start producing

Never actually did it in a chiptune track before (cause I usually do that kind of music in trackers, usually)

It has the chiptune vibe anyway and that’s the more important
