  • A good interpretation of the theme of the jam, constellations are both connections to one another and connections to stories. The game was a little unclear at first. I wasn't sure if I was meant to avoid the black holes entirely and place the stars around (I tried that a few times, and couldn't figure it out) until I stumbled into the answer by throwing stars into the holes at random. After that it was easier, but in general, having to look up constellations outside of the game took away from playing it. It might have been better as a memory game where you saw the constellation, then had to put stars in the right black holes that covered it? Puzzle games should be solvable in-game without external input if possible. Constellations are very abstract, so it was impossible to deduce, and they're also drawn differently in different sources. So a lot of it did end up just guessing, which is too bad. General playability-wise, there were a few buttons that didn't work (Orion's fail state had neither buttons working for me). I did enjoy the little tidbits of mythology that popped up when you finished a level. Overall, a good interpretation with a simple mechanic, but it needed a better explanation and the solutions ended up being guesswork. A little instruction or an easy tutorial level could have helped, but it's a hard concept to put into a small game. A great effort, though! congrats on making a playable game with 3 levels, and all by yourself, too! I'm quite impressed and you should be proud of it.

I was hoping to add music to this one, but it is currently almost four in the morning, and I don't have the slightest idea where to begin. I hope everyone enjoys though, everything in this game from the art to the one sound effect is made by me.
