• Gameplay An easy and clear goal from the get go that gets supported by simple yet engaging gameplay. The game does a lot with very little, creating a solid background for its gameplay that helps keep things dynamic. There were some empty areas that made it hard to know whether or not I was moving, so making the playing field smaller could be a good thing, but aside from that the gameplay was strong! Creativity and Innovation It was a fun twist on resource gathering — gather friends instead! It made me smile to see it presented this way, and made it amusing to succeed at that goal. Theme Adherence Simple but efficient use of the theme! Wrapped in fun gameplay, it was a very smart way to go about it in order to get the most out of the experience. Playability and User Experience Be careful! Your game file was only playable on a mac for me, but is advertised as all platforms. That aside, very smooth gaming experience with a very enjoyable ambiance and style. Art and Design The art style and design fit right with the simplicity of the gameplay, and didn't detract from it at all. It was easy, outside of the empty zones, to see movement and direction. I really enjoyed how depth was indicated by having the houses be in the foreground as well. Overall Fun Factor Was a quick and fun little game I might bust out when I need something simple to busy myself with! I had lots of fun running around gathering friends, and it's a solid concept for a short format.
