  • I want to express my love first and foremost to the presence of a quit button on the main menu. Not many other games had one, and it made it hard to get out of the menu without using ALT+F4… so thank you for taking the time to make one haha It took me a second to figure out what to do with the material I had in my truck, but not long enough that I got frustrated. Once I figured out the main gameplay loop, I had a blast! The difficulty increase was smooth, and gave just enough upgrades along the way to keep things interesting without making them too difficult. Making your game well balanced is the key to making sure players enjoy their time with it. A small detail that I liked was the movement indicator when the truck was in motion. The small gap between the front and back was just enough to be noticeable and create dynamism when I pressed a direction. Like I said, once I figured out the core mechanic, I was all set! Roads were clear, the locations of bridges were clear, and because the gameplay loop was well implemented I had no issue progressing. The music was a good choice to not be too distracting. Had a lot of fun playing this! Good understanding of balancing, and the tutorial text was entertaining to read the whole way through which helps a lot with retaining information.
