  • I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do to succeed in completing the level, so my feedback will be based on an incomplete gameplay. With that in mind, my first suggestion would be to make it a lot clearer what the player is supposed to do in the game. I picked up weapons and shot at zombies, which was fun and engaging the whole time, but interacting with the radio or other objects gave no indication — it was possibly a bug, and the goal was indeed to interact with the radio and send out a signal (connect with the outside, if you will ;) ), but that was never successful and the bar above the screen never filled up no matter what I tried. Gameplay wise, well done! Easy to pick up on, clear indications in the menu — I also liked how the menu was presented, with movement being a key to interact with buttons. I did get slightly confused about whether or not I was in the game, so I would try to perhaps create a different vibe for the menu (like having all the lights be on and a different, less stressful music playing) that would shift into game mode once play is selected, but the concept of the menu itself was creative and the interactivity of it was nice. It was clear who the enemies were and what to do about them, though less so where to find the weapons once the game was started. I did try to start shooting immediately despite being unarmed. Adding overlay text with "grab a weapon/find a weapon!" would help a lot there. The shooting patterns of the guns were unique and fun to try out, each with their own pros and cons, which kept the game fun and interesting despite me never being able to complete the level. Sidenote, while the "you're almost out of time" SFX was working to stress me out…..maybe a little too well though hehehe
