I think this is important to point out, but when I passed trough the first portal I got stuck in a wall and was not able to progress in the game :(. Also when I felt down the pit, I had to manually restart.

About the combat system, I only got to slay the first enemy since I could not progress to the other levels, but it appears to be fine. I would only suggest to implement a way that keeping the attack button pressed releases the magic power when the attack cool down resets, instead of having to spam click.
