  1. What did this game do well? (Answer in a few sentences)
    • This game follows the idea of minimalism ,easy to learn and play.
    • The game runs smoothly with no collision detection issues. The game concept itself is quite clever as a variation of traditional breakout games. The color toggling as a way to score buttons is quite ingenious.
    • The game reflected the minimalism very well. With two color they are able to make different randomized patterns.  The design of the game is very clean.
    • I loved the idea of incorporating an old game with the minimalist design process. It was such a simple idea that really made me impressed. It had a good amount of skill to it and a lot that it could build on.
    • I love this rendition of brick breaker. The game runs well and is easy to understand mechanically. This game is really a test of skill and reflexes, and at times I feel like im spamming the space key to keep up - its a good feel. It feels polished and is a fun twist on the original.
  2. What could be done better? (Answer in a few sentences)
    • The game progress is slow, and it takes a long time on waiting the ball hit the bricks especially when there is only a few bricks left. One possible solution is to add some random spawn bricks and increase the ball speed to reduce the waiting time.
    • Having the balls initial trajectory angle be random would help make replays less predictable. As it is now, the player can just memorize the ball path to score points. It is also quite boring near the end of the game, just waiting for the ball to hit the last few bricks. Being able to influence the ball's bath would help, but that would change the game from being a one button game.
    • If the player can change the direction with a mouse button, it would have been great
    • More features and maybe a better layout to fit the toggle feature. A way to avoid the bug of not hitting a block once its close to the end. A different points system could make it interesting.
    • I understood the game rules because you guys explained it well during your demo, but its not immediately intuitive that the goal of the game is to change the color of the ball to match the bricks. The goal of standard brick breaker is to... break all the bricks, but the win / lose / scoring condition for this game is different. Some brief instructions or something could be added to avoid confusion.
