Google Keep and Google Docs for writing and layout, GIMP for image editing, IbisPaintX for the art.

Use of the limitation
My game doesn't have buttons, but I do have dice rolls, so I made the Distractions roll something that decided whether you were "distracted" by an advertisement or a real life intrusion, or if you rolled below a set number, you triggered a Cyber Attack, which was its own more costly mechanic.

Cookies eaten
I had a can of Sprite, I wanted to eat a cookie but didn't have any :c

I love this submission. Reading through, it looks like a great journal game with some interesting mechanics. Given the medium, the implementation of having one die roll have alternative outcomes fits the limitation perfectly. Visually wonderful. I haven't had a chance to properly play yet, but I am looking forward to it!!

He actually made a game in a text editor. He's a genius, A FU**ING GENIUS!

I've read through it, and it's actually a really interesting concept with a very cool design. The format is unusual, but that's what makes it so intriguing! You're awesome!

Thanks, man! I know the jam's more for video games over physical but I'm glad my project resonated with you as much as it seems to have!
