How does your game relate to the theme?
The first thing that went to my head when I saw the theme was "virus". So here Shotgun Steve makes his way through a secret underground compound to find the cure for the extremely dangerous "compound x".

Love this mechanics! Very good and nice to play)
Very fun game. The mechanics were well polished and the art was really good. I agree with the other comments that some music or variation in the sound would have broken up the repetition of the gun, and that the theme was more of a story than a mechanic. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing and it was very well put together. Great submission!
I loved the core mechanic, lot of fun to play and super interesting story line as well. I feel like the theme was definitely part of the game but not really part of the mechanics more the overall story. Overall great game I had a LOT of fun playing this!
insanely fun concept and gameplay and some really cool looking art, i just wish there was some music in the background! i feel like this might just be my favorite entry ive played so far
