Did you work in a team?
Yes, we are a 2 man team. One of us was responsible for programming and level design, the other handled the artistic side of things (from models, to sprites, to sound).
Was the resolution a challenge?
Our biggest hurdle was figuring out a way to convey visual information from the first person perspective while making sure it was clear what the player was looking at. To do this, we settled on a greyscale + red colour scheme for the game, to make certain elements stand out even from a distance.
What did you learn?
The biggest thing learned in this jam was learning how to record and process sound effects from real life recordings, as well as selecting what sounds to record when actually on location, to ensure the most authentic sound possible.

This game was awesome! I was very immersed while playing it. This was a unique submission, I love that you rendered the world in 3d with a pixel post processor! It made me feel farsighted like I couldn't see in the distance but had to get closer to inspect, which is a cool gameplay mechanic. The sound design was on point and added so much to the immersion. Very cool little story! Great job.
